Protein presented the business name, concept, design and brand identity for this content development company outta Sydney, Australia.

The Brief :

A startup business with an ambigious direction - content development. How do we come up with something that says 'creative people creating' without pigeon-holing the company in one sector.

 

The Concept :

We came up with 3 names and concepts. Thred was chosen as the underlying theme of all the content (graphic novels, music, film, new media) was content that was based on strong stories... the thread of the story weaving its way intricately through whatever project they chose.

We took the concept literally and used clean, sharp photography of different threds to push the point home.

 

The Result :

Thred now have a professional image that stands alone in their competitive market.

The brand easily translates to print, web, interactive... any manner of media that it required (which was essential for the business).

The brand also lends itself to a working environment as the offices can be warm, inviting, plush and cosy - the image says it all!
